…and one of the most tenderhearted people you will ever meet is ours, Jen Corbett.
When they call and they are in distress, they are able to hear the compassion she has received from Jesus, and she wants to share it with them.
Our frontline when it comes to the day to day at the church, to taking the tough calls, to fielding the endless sales, is her. She often is one of the first that hears when members have gone to heaven.
She laughs with you, cries with you, and no matter what is always there for you, and you feel it even over the phone.
It’s a big step of faith to call a church, even though she can’t fix all of the problems people may bring, just the fact that there’s somebody that cares means the world to them, and she’s grateful that God has given her that opportunity.
She was with us through COVID-19, when the world seemed just a little darker, sometimes being the first friendly voice heard in a long time for callers who were isolated.
Let’s appreciate her service to our congregation and to the Church as being salt and light in a dark world!
